Before starting the P90X you do a fitness test to measure your starting point. Below I copied what you "need" for this test. I put what you actually "need" in blue. You will find the link to the fitness test below as well.
The P90x Fit Test
P90X has a fitness test that they ask you to complete before you embark on the program. The test is used so you can chart your progress, and to make sure you are able to complete a P90X Workout. The P90X Fit Test takes approximately 40 minutes to complete, and all tests should be completed in the order listed below. As they will ask you will repeat this Fit Test when you complete the P90X, it is important that you are able to do it the same way, in the same order.
Equipment Required
•Heart rate monitor (it is helpful but not necessary)
•body fat caliper
•tape measure
•scale
•pull-up bar (securely installed)
•timer (stopwatch or watch with second hand)
This is a PDF of the fitness test. Just read it and follow the directions. I suggest actually printing this out as you will want to compare your day 1 with your day 90......and remember to take your start photos! Have fun!
